Friday Letters

Gosh can time just slow down a bit?? It's already Friday and it's already the middle of July which means summer is almost over- no good. I honestly can't believe that it's the middle of 2012. Anyway while time is flying by let's chat about what I'm looking back on this week. Once again linking up with Ashley for

Photobucket

Dear Car: Why is it the minute I get done paying you off you decide to cost me more money?? After putting new brakes and rotors on plus all new tires now my fabulous car decided to not allow my windshield wipers to stop working. Best part is they are stuck in the middle of my windshield. Ugh! I know where I will be after work tomorrow- stupid car repair place and my adoring husband will be taking care of this for me. It is truly taking everything in me to not ditch you and get a new car.

Dear Hubby: At the moment you're super crabby and not on my good side but thankfully you're now sleeping and you also took such good care of me on Sunday I don't think I can be mad at you at all this week. Thank you for letting me get a little crazy and drink a tad to much but you let me put my hair down and let loose- I however did pay for that dearly the next day. But you were so quick to take care of me and not throw it in my face. Love you!

Dear New Dress Code: Today is the day! I hope I find you comfortable throughout the day- I will provide a picture of my fab new outfit next week.

Dear Work Out: I've been kicking major butt and I'm very excited that I signed up for another work-out regiment called Krav Maga. It's a Israeli self-defense method of working out. Can't wait to see how else I can push my body.

Dear 50 Shades of Grey: I am still half way through the 2nd book but I've been so busy with going back to work and working out I haven't really had a chance to read. Trust me you're still captivating and Mr. Grey is as sexy as ever and is still leaving me want more.

I hope everyone has a great weekend!

Sole Mate

Good Morning! I swear weeks are flying by! I can't believe it's Thursday let alone the middle of July. Where does the time go? Anyways once again linking up with Danielle from Framed Frosting for

Let me tell ya what I'm loving this week- shoes! Who doesn't love a sexy pump?? I wish I had a reason to go out and buy these amaze-balls shoes but a woman can lust right??

I hope that the color blocking continues through the Fall because I love adding a bold color to an outfit especially if it's a blah outfit.

Do you have a favorite pump or if you could splurge on any shoe what would it be?? Mine would def be some Louboutin's.

Me, Myself & I

Hi Everyone, so today I'm linking up with many hosts who are sponsoring a new link up called

I saw this link up on a couple of blogs that I follow and I was intrigued and thought why not? I love meeting new bloggers and plus the questions that were posted really got me thinking so I thought I had to take the time out to answer them. Before I go into the questions here is a little instruction on this link up (I copy & pasted from another blogger because they just worded it so much better)

Here's how it works:
-Link-up goes live the 3rd Tuesday every month and stays open for one week.
-There will be 5 questions to answer each month, posted in advance so that you have plenty of time to write a post.
-If you'd like them emailed to you, we'll put you down on the monthly mailing list.
-Add pictures to your post to spice it up a bit if desired :)
Rules:
1. We ask that you follow each of the co hosts,
2. Pretty please grab the button and place it in your posts & perhaps put it into your side bar to help spread the word :) Don't worry, we won't kick ya out if you don't...we're not Blog Snobs ;)
3. Click on a few other bloggers and make new friends!

So here are this link up's questions:

1. What is your biggest phobia? If you were to ask me this question 5 years ago it would have been being alone. However since 5 years ago I've grown into my own and become more independant that if I did find myself alone I knew I could take care of myself and be okay. So current phobia... hmm... I would have to say regret. I never want to regret anything so taking every experience, moment, and opporunitiy and relishing in it.

2. If you could relive any day of your life, what would it be and why? This is a hard one. I have a tie and they are both very opposite. My first would be my wedding day but more specifically exchanging my vows with my husband. The second day would be the day my dad passed aways, because it was so sudden I wish I would have made one last phone call to him that day.

3. If you could choose to stay a certain age forever, what age would it be? 19, I was such a free spirit and really coming into my own. I would have liked to take more chances on love and seen where those paths took me. Not that I have any regrets on where or who I've ended up with but you always have that What If. I kept my heart very gaurded at that point in my life and I would have changed that.

4. Which celebrity do you get mistaken for? Let's be honest I don't get mistaken for any celebrity however I wish I got mistaken for Kim Kardashian. Haha. I at least have her booty going for me

5. What songs are included on the soundtrack to your life? To many to name but I will name a few: You're Not Sorry- Taylor Swift, Dirty- Christina Aguliera, Somebody That I Used to Know- Gotye, Maps- Yeah Yeah Yeah's.

What would be your answers to any one of these questions??

Manni Monday

Hello Monday! I can't believe that it's Monday already- for once I had a jammed packed weekend although I spent most of my Sunday in bed because I drank way to much last night and I just can't hold it down like I use too. Thanks to my amazing husband he took very good care of me.

So since I'm new to the no chip manicure world since I took off my fake nails I went in for my 2 week appointment. I have to say I was very impressed on how well the polish stayed on, I was very active and my polish didn't chip once! So I was very excited to get it done again, I had the hard choice of what color to choose and I finally decided on Pink Smoothie by Gelish.
My manicurist told me it was one of their most popular colors. I was very excited to try it because it was classic with a little color. Here is how it turned out on my nails:

Plus it's looking good with my tan I've been rocking. What is your favorite no chip color?? I'm always looking for suggestions.

Friday Letters

Good Morning Friday! Gosh I can't believe it's the end of the week already, that means my stay-cation is slowly coming to an end. No fun. However because it's Friday I'm once again linking up for
Photobucket

So let's get started.

Dear Hubby: I'm so excited that we got our passport application filled out and our pictures taken, now just file and wait and off to see the world together! Also thank you for loving every inch of me and being so supportive of me and my decisions. I know you'll always be my side through thick & thin and I cannot even express to you how much that means to me.

Dear Working Out: You consumed me this week! But I loved every minute of it and wish I could spend all my days working out and being active.

Dear Self: Well I exhausted all my options with my ever battle of the weight gain- I eat healthy, work out everyday for at least 2 hours a day, and yet I'm still plagued with weight gain and pant size increase. Yes I'm very muscular and I like that however I still feel fat at times. I went to my last Dr. to figure out what's plaguing my body and came up with no answers. He gave me a list of options:
- Weight Loss surgery -- Are you kidding me?? That's just NOT for me
- Work out ore -- Unless I'm suppose to quit my full-time job I don't know how I can possibly work out more
- Go on the new FDA Weight Loss Drug -- I just don't feel comfortable putting something foreign in my body that we don't know the long-term effects of
- Accept it -- This seemed like the only safe and logical answer, after much soul searching and still coming to grips with my body I am learning to accept with what I'm graced with and move on.

Dear Justin Bieber: Your new CD is AMAZING! No wonder why you were the highest paid celeb under 30 for 2011/2012. I mean I cannot stop hitting repeat, I even did my 30 mile bike ride listening to your whole CD and a few songs more than just once. Keep CD's like this coming!

Dear Weekend: WOW I actually have plans, what?! Normally the weekends I do have off (once a month) the hubby & I don't have plans or at least anything exciting. However this weekend we have plans for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday! This is a first. I'm going to try and take many pics to share at a later post.

Dear New Dress code: You're exhausting me both physically and financially. Thank goodness I have a pile of returns to make. I am in the final stages of finalizing my new dress code for work. I brought my jeans to the tailor to get hemmed, bought a new pair of shoes, and order my last and final blazer (from Forever 21- go figure). I also got my cardigans in from Lands End. On Friday launches our new dress code, hopefully it all comes together.

Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

Rock of Love

Wow Thursday already?? Where does the time go? Once again I'm linking
 up with Framed Frosting for

Current Crush Thursdays

So what really inspired me this week was just one little thing and that was my
sideways cross necklace. I had become a signature to my style, I literally wear
it every single day. Now I can't exactly take 100% credit for this now must-have.
One of my dearest friends Chris actually showed it to me and at that point also
introduced me to Etsy which became a fast addiction. She had seen a store owner
had the side ways cross necklace and it was different and simple and for me it was
love at first sight. It has a little bit of a rock & roll theme so it inspired me to do a little
bit of a rocker look but still very trendy and feminine.
